Our high speed Robotic Case Packer is a vision guided solution that can be configured from various operation principles. Following are some examples. 1) Case packing robots pick products from a conveyor and place them directly in cases. 2) Robots pick the products from a conveyor and prepare a layer while other picking robots take those layers to place them in cases. 3) Robots pick the products directly from cases to create a mixed pack case, using a special end-of-arm tool enabling picking and placing at the bottom of the cases.
The first two applications are mainly found at the end of manufacturing lines while the 3rd is usually applicable in warehouses or distribution centers (order fulfillment / ecommerce). NūMove’s robotic packing machines can handle fragile and odd shaped products at high speeds. When relevant, we can also integrate Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) to handle empty pallets, full pallets and products.
