Robotic mixed load palletizer systems are frequently seen at the outbound lines in warehouses, distributions centers and order fulfillment centers. Multi-SKU palletizing solutions allow the preparation of mixed pallets aligned to specific customers’ orders.
Based on the customer’s goals and specific needs — such as required speed, budget, product specifications, and pallet types — NūMove provides a range of cell configuration models for mixed load palletizing. These robotic systems designed by NūMove build stable and store-ready mixed pallets using a load planning software. This advanced software optimizes product placement on the pallets and indicates the adequate product feeding sequence. It considers various stacking rules such as product type, dimensions, density, weight, crushability, all while ensuring compliance with store constraints (aisle-ready).
These solutions are powered by NūLogik, NūMove’s proprietary software solution for appliance hosting. The software is developed specifically for industrial automated equipment with Industry 4.0 functionalities in mind. The numerous features offered by the software elevate the level of usability and performance: ergonomic operator interface, production statistics, display of alarms for each equipment, integrated remote support, surveillance cameras, and much more.

NūBotik MixPal is a robotic mixed SKU palletizing solution, entirely designed and engineered by NūMove Robotics & Vision. The palletizing robot is installed on a 12-foot-high platform. An integrated stretch wrapper beneath the platform enables wrapping during palletizing, ensuring the pallet’s stability. An empty pallet is staged next to the palletizing position, so the robot does not wait when a load is completed to start building the next one. These maximizes robot usage and the system’s throughput.

NūMove’s Robotic Layer Mixed Palletizer is designed to handle complete layers of mixed products. This solution is not a standard rainbow
palletizing system: the robot builds stable pallets, accommodating varying product formats, sizes and heights within each layer while minimizing the number of top-off products. It is a higher rate alternative to single case mixed palletizing that adapts really well to industries that have consistency on the heights of their SKUs (beverage, beer, wine & spirits).

RAPTOR (Robotic Arm Picking To Order Release) is a high throughput dual robot system engineered by NūMove Robotics & Vision in collaboration with KPI Solutions. The goal is to automate the building of mixed SKU orders for fast-moving products. Designed for the beer and beverage industry, the system first depalletizes products into a flow rack buffer, then palletizes them into custom order pallets. Optimized for performance and accuracy, RAPTOR combines industrial vision and flexible end-of-arm tools for SKU adaptability without additional programming.
Ideal for operations requiring speed, flexibility, and accurate handling of SKU variety.

This configuration is very similar to our NūBotik MixPal solution, but instead of the robot being mounted on a platform, it is installed on the floor. Therefore, there’s no integrated stretch wrapper.
